The current travel advice for Australia is available online here. The Department of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-essential travel overseas.
Irish citizens who have concerns about the Coronavirus can call the Department of Foreign Affairs dedicated phone line on +353 (0)1 613 1733.
Irish citizens wishing to return to Ireland from Australia are advised to do so as soon as possible as fewer options may be available due to an expected reduction in scheduled flights. Consulate Services
The Consulate’s public office has re-opened to the public. In order to contribute to efforts to suppress the transmission of Coronavirus, we ask the public to adhere to the following guidelines:
- No more than 2 people in the public area at any one time
- Maintain social distancing
- Use hand sanitizer provided in the public area
