Minister Flanagan condemns reported brutal murder of Jordanian Pilot

Minister Charles Flanagan, International relations, Press Releases, Middle East and North Africa, 2015

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan TD, has condemned the reported murder of Jordanian pilot Lt. Moaz Al-Kasasbeh by the terrorist group ISIS.

Minister Flanagan said:

“I am appalled by reports that Lt. Al-Kasasbeh has been murdered by the terrorist group ISIS.  This murder, and the particularly cruel and immoral manner of it, is an affront to humanity, and to the values of tolerance and peace which unite Ireland and Jordan.

“I want to express my deep sympathies to his family and to the Jordanian nation on their loss.”
